TheVentureCity leads US$US$1,6 million round in Moonflow to drive international expansion

Moonflow continues to strengthen its position in the financial technology market after announcing the close of an internal Pre-Series A round of US$US$1,6 million. The deal, led by TheVentureCity with participation from Salkantay Ventures and Morro Ventures, brings the company’s total funding to more than US$US$4 million.

The funds will be used to accelerate the company’s commercial growth strategy and further develop its product ahead of a future Series A.

A bet on redefining collections management

While much of enterprise software continues to operate using traditional models, Moonflow has developed an AI-native operating system designed to manage core collections strategy and coordinate a network of more than ten autonomous voice and text agents.

These agents can handle complex interactions without human intervention, making it possible to automate processes and optimize portfolio recovery in both B2C and B2B environments.

“The Moonflow team isn’t optimizing traditional collections; it’s building a new category of enterprise software. Its execution capabilities led us to lead this round and back its vision of an AI-native operating system for collections,” said Andrés Dancausa, General Partner at TheVentureCity.

Presence in 25 countries and global clients

The company is growing rapidly and currently operates in 25 countries, including markets in Latin America, the United States, and Spain.

Moonflow’s technology infrastructure is already used by corporations, financial institutions, and FinTechs such as Manpower, Rotoplas, Banco Ripley, BCI, Kavak, Konfio, and Kueski, among other organizations.

This reach has helped position the platform as one of the leading collections management solutions in the markets where it operates.

New developments to strengthen its technological edge

As part of its innovation strategy, the company is preparing two launches scheduled for June and July.

The first is a native integration with Asterisk, which will connect the network of AI-powered voice agents directly to companies’ phone infrastructure. This feature will make it possible to place simultaneous calls with ultra-low latency, both for human operators and autonomous agents.

The second launch will be a field management application designed to integrate in-person activities with the cloud-based artificial intelligence engine in real time. The tool aims to unify collections strategies, from field operations to digital management—a feature especially relevant to the Latin American context.

Expansion and leadership as the next goals

The recent financial consolidation also lays the groundwork for the company’s short-term growth plans.

Among its main goals is to double its market penetration over the next 12 months and strengthen its position as a leader in technology applied to collections.

“Modern collections can’t be solved by adding people to a call center; it’s a challenge of data, speed, and intelligent orchestration in real time. This renewed vote of confidence from our investors allows us to execute at full speed and ensure companies have access to the most advanced infrastructure on the market,” said Facundo Turconi, CEO of Moonflow.

Moonflow describes itself as an artificial intelligence-based collections operating system with a presence in Latin America, the United States, and Spain.

By replacing traditional architectures with a platform integrated with autonomous voice and text agents, the company aims to transform portfolio recovery into a more efficient, predictive, and scalable end-to-end process.

With this new investment round, the company is doubling down on accelerating the adoption of AI technologies in a sector that increasingly demands analytical capabilities, automation, and real-time decision-making.
