Sync Magic, the EdTech startup transforming education across the region
From Mexico to Latin America, Sync Magic shows how educational innovation can come to life, driven by IFE Launch and its vision of transforming live teaching.

Turning a live class into a dynamic, interactive experience is no easy task. Teachers and instructors often waste time jumping between platforms, fragmenting attention and causing frustration for both educators and students.
To solve this challenge, Sync Magic, an EdTech startup that turns every class into a dynamic, immersive experience, was born. Its platform lets teachers integrate videos, presentations, interactive quizzes, collaborative whiteboards, and polls, all within a single presentation. It also provides real-time analytics showing student participation, responses, and performance.
This way, every lesson shifts from a passive presentation to an environment where students actively participate from their devices, maintaining their attention and fostering meaningful learning.
“We want teachers to focus on teaching and students on learning, without getting lost in technology,” says Adriana Caballero, co-founder of Sync Magic.
Taking off with IFE Launch
In 2024, Sync Magic was selected for IFE Launch, the flagship program of the Institute for the Future of Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey that supports early-stage education startups.
A major boost came with the IFE Conference, the annual event that brings together more than 8,000 leaders and stakeholders from the EdTech ecosystem. There, Sync had the opportunity to showcase its solution, build strategic partnerships, and gain the visibility needed to grow beyond Mexico.
“The IFE Conference gave us the chance to meet the people who could open the doors we needed. It was a pivotal moment that took us to the next level,” recalls Adriana.
In addition to this visibility, IFE Launch offered them a range of benefits that accelerated their growth:
- 📍 Acceleration in Monterrey: a three-month program with accommodation and support for one founder, as well as workspace in the Innovation District.
- 🧠 Training with Silicon Valley experts in sales, investment, pitching, experimentation, and impact measurement.
- 🧑💻 Real-world validation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, working directly with the institution’s professors, students, and resources.
- 🌍 Connections and international visibility, including the IFE Conference and a booth at the EdTech Summit, participation in the INC Mty festival, and admission to the USC EdTech Accelerator in Silicon Valley.
Regional expansion: what’s next for Sync Magic
Thanks to the support of IFE Launch, Sync Magic has gone from being an EdTech startup focused on Mexico to expanding into other markets. Today, it is running pilots at universities in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia, and has joined Startup Chile, one of Latin America’s leading accelerators.
The next step is to scale its product with new features and strengthen its regional presence.
Now it’s your turn
Sync Magic’s story is proof of the impact that being part of IFE Launch can have.
“There are always fears and doubts, but you already have the ‘no.’ What matters is having the courage to go for the ‘yes’ and making the most of opportunities like IFE Launch, which only come around once,” Adriana shares.
Now it’s your turn. If you lead an early-stage EdTech startup and are ready to take the leap, don’t miss this opportunity.
