Strattum raises US$3,2 million to drive artificial intelligence adoption at large companies
Strattum raised US$3,2 million to help large companies organize their data and accelerate AI adoption.

Strattum closed a pre-seed round of US$3,2 million, co-led by OneVC and Maya Capital, with participation from Norte Ventures. The investment, which is larger than the average pre-seed check in Brazil, will support the startup’s mission to help large companies organize fragmented data structures that often limit the effective implementation of artificial intelligence solutions.
Solving one of the biggest challenges in enterprise AI
As organizations accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence, many continue to face a fundamental obstacle: disconnected, poorly structured data.
Strattum was created specifically to address this problem by orchestrating information scattered across multiple corporate systems. Its platform consolidates data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, data lakes, spreadsheets, and other documents into a unified database.
The company’s name is inspired by the Latin word stratum, which refers to geological layers where minerals remain buried. The concept reflects Strattum’s role as a kind of “digital miner,” able to extract valuable information hidden across different technology environments.
By creating a single, reliable source of information, companies can establish a stronger starting point for deploying artificial intelligence initiatives backed by more efficient data structures.
“Companies skip steps and connect a CRM directly to an AI model,” said Kadu Monguilhott, CEO and co-founder of Strattum. “That’s inefficient, becomes very expensive, and uses many more tokens to generate results than it would if structured data existed.”

Why data organization is key to AI
According to Strattum, only 6% of large companies—the startup’s target segment—currently have structured data capable of efficiently powering artificial intelligence models.
In many cases, companies build their AI solutions on fragmented information from isolated systems, such as a single ERP. This limited view can significantly reduce the effectiveness of the models deployed.
Strattum argues that consolidating information from diverse sources allows artificial intelligence models and agents to operate more efficiently and generate greater business value.
“With AI, the more holistic a company’s view, the more value it can deliver to the business,” explained Rafael Viana, co-founder and CTO of Strattum.
Founders with extensive experience in the enterprise data market

Strattum was founded by Kadu Monguilhott and Rafael Viana, two executives with a strong track record in Brazil’s enterprise data ecosystem.
Before launching Strattum, Monguilhott worked at Neoway for 11 years, including nearly five years as CEO. During that time, he took part in the company’s sale to B3 in 2021, in a deal valued at R$1.800 million (approximately US$347 million).
Viana, meanwhile, is a co-founder of idtech company Certta, formerly known as CAF. The two entrepreneurs first established their professional relationship through the company’s board of directors.
Now, drawing on the experience they have accumulated throughout their careers, the founders aim to help large organizations build the data infrastructure needed to fully realize the potential of artificial intelligence.
