Startuplinks Seeks Mexican Startups to Participate in StartCo, Latin America’s Largest Startup and Investment Gathering
Startuplinks will assemble a curated delegation of Mexican startups for the seventh edition of StartCo

As an official partner, Startuplinks will assemble a curated delegation of Mexican startups for the seventh edition of StartCo, which will bring together more than 15,000 attendees, 360 startups, and 80+ investors from across the region on 16 and 17 April 2026 at Plaza Mayor Medellín.
StartCo has established itself as one of Latin America’s most prominent venture capital events: a live dealmaking format where founders pitch their companies to multiple investors, deal flow accelerates in 48 hours, and connections quickly move from conversation to action. In its seventh edition, Mexico will have a prominent place on the event’s international agenda.
The 2025 edition posted significant figures: more than 13,000 attendees, 350 startups from 20 countries, more than 150 investment funds and US$3 million in investment interest generated in just two days. For 2026, projections point to more than 15,000 attendees and at least US$3.5 million in committed capital.
But StartCo is more than a showcase. It is one of the few spaces in the region where startups with real traction —minimum annual revenue of USD 25,000, a validated product, and a scalable model—have the opportunity to pitch on highly visible stages, connect with Latin American funds, and accelerate conversations that would normally take months.
Among the 10 finalist startups from 2025 were companies such as Salva Health (Colombia), focused on early breast cancer detection; Airbag (Mexico), a platform that analyzes driving habits to reduce risks and costs; and Lety.ai, which specializes in artificial intelligence agents for businesses. In total, the edition brought together 340 startups, selected 10 finalists for the main stage, and generated US$3.2 million in investment interest for the winning companies, underscoring the event’s impact on growth-stage startups.
Call for Mexican startups at StartCo 2026
In 2026, Startuplinks will participate as the official StartCo ambassador, with the goal of bringing together a curated delegation of at least 10 high-potential Mexican startups. This partnership aims to facilitate the participation of Mexican startups with traction, providing support, greater visibility, and access to key spaces at the event. Each startup in the delegation will have its own point of contact at the fair, where it can showcase its product, meet investors, schedule meetings, and hold business conversations with corporations and strategic partners. The aim is to give startups the conditions they need to focus on making connections, presenting their proposals, and creating real opportunities during the event.
“StartCo isn’t just another event. It’s a space where Latin American startups with real traction can speak directly with the region’s leading funds. Mexico will take center stage in 2026, and at Startuplinks, we want the best startups in the Mexican ecosystem to make the most of this opportunity”, said Israel García, CEO of Startuplinks.
Why participate?
For Mexican startups participating in StartCo 2026, the value goes beyond raising capital:
- Concentrated access to regional investors: In two days, startups can meet with dozens of Latin American funds and investment vehicles, including early-stage VC, growth, and corporate venture capital.
- Exploring expansion into Colombia and the Andean region: Medellín has emerged as one of the region’s most active innovation hubs, making it an ideal place to test value propositions, open commercial discussions, and learn about new markets.
- Strategic connections with corporations interested in pilots, technology partnerships, and proof-of-concept projects, especially in verticals such as fintech, energy, healthcare, logistics, and retail.

“We’re looking for Mexican startups that have already validated their business model, have paying customers, and are ready to scale beyond their local market. StartCo is an ideal environment for making that leap,” García added.
What makes StartCo different?
Unlike other gatherings, StartCo prioritizes direct interaction and decision-making. Its live dealmaking format creates a different dynamic: attendees vote for the most attractive startups, the highest-ranked ones get access to the main stage, and investors express interest in real time, accelerating conversations that would otherwise stretch over weeks or months.
Beyond investment, StartCo brings together key players from the Latin American ecosystem, including Endeavor, Rockstart, Ruta N, Bancolombia, AWS, chambers of commerce, and accelerators. The event features speed-meeting areas for startups and funds, an innovation showcase, sector-specific demo days (FinTech, HealthTech, EnergyTech, and women-founded startups), and a robust academic program.
Previous editions of StartCo have featured global leaders such as Uri Levine, Waze co-founder, and Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter, among other international figures from the tech and venture capital worlds.
In 2025, the event recorded more than 20,000 business connections, with startups from Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, the United States, and Spain. For 2026, the goal is clear: to establish StartCo as the regional meeting point for VCs, angels, corporations, and public-sector players from across Latin America.
