Pulga closes pre-seed round and accelerates growth in the market with more than 100.000 users
Pulga closes pre-seed round and surpasses 100.000 downloads in Chile. The startup aims to transform the secondhand market with technology, logistics, and trust.

Pulga, a digital platform focused on the sale and purchase of used goods between individuals, announced the close of its pre-seed funding round alongside its first growth metrics, reaching more than 100.000 downloads in Chile just weeks after its launch in March 2026.
A round backed by international investors and institutional support
The startup attracted investors from both Chile and Spain, including one of Wallapop’s co-founders, a leading name in Europe’s secondhand market. This backing provides not only capital but also experience building marketplaces in the sector.
Additionally, Pulga was selected by CORFO for the Semilla Inicia program, strengthening its funding capacity and validating its proposal to scale nationwide.
Founders with experience in secondhand marketplaces
The founding team consists of Fede Coll and Alicia del Sol, both of whom have direct experience developing and operating platforms of this kind.
Coll, who is from Spain, gained more than nine years of experience in areas such as operations, payments, and logistics at Wallapop, before moving to Chile to lead the project. Del Sol, an industrial engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, worked in Trust & Safety and Customer Experience at the same company before taking on the role of CTO at Pulga.
“We saw the same opportunity in Chile that we saw in Spain years ago: a huge secondhand market, full of friction, without a platform that truly solves the trust problem. We came to build one,” Coll said.

Pulga aims to stand out by integrating key features into a single platform, including secure payments, shipping, and buyer protection. It also uses artificial intelligence to detect potential fraud, make it easier to create listings, and suggest competitive prices.
For logistics, the startup relies on Blue Express, a company specializing in last-mile delivery in Chile. This eliminates the need for in-person meetups and provides nationwide coverage.
“The secondhand market in Chile moves billions of pesos a year, but the vast majority of those transactions take place without any kind of protection. Pulga exists to change that,” said Alicia del Sol.
With this financial backing, the company plans to expand its presence in the country and establish itself as a key player in Chile’s secondhand commerce ecosystem.
