Lebane raises $US$4M and consolidates its expansion in Mexico and Argentina

Mexico City, 12 February 2026. Lebane, the first construction management system that operates as an intelligent system for real estate development and construction, powered by AI, closed a Seed round of $4 million dollars. The round was co-led by Atlántico, a Brazilian-origin fund focused on technology, and Zacua Ventures, a U.S. fund specializing in technologies for the construction industry.

Fen Ventures, ADN.vc, Kuiper VC and Galicia Ventures, Banco Galicia’s venture capital arm, are other notable funds that also participated in the round for this Argentine startup, which operates as an intelligent quantitative and qualitative construction assistant for real estate development and construction. The goal of this capital raise is to accelerate its expansion in Latin America, with a particular focus on the Mexican market.

Founded in Argentina in 2023 by startup veterans Bruno Lerer, Lucas Glustman, Diego Sarro, Matías Podrojsky, and Diego Cabrosi, the company set out with the mission of digitizing information and process flows in the real estate industry. Glustman explains that they found that most real estate developers and construction companies across Latin America lacked access to centralized, real-time information. “They had multiple Excel files, multiple systems, multiple spreadsheets, multiple sources of information that weren’t consolidated, and that basically kept them from making decisions,” he explains.

The lack of reliable information leads to financial losses and is one of the main risks to the profitability of real estate projects. According to data shared by Lebane, construction budgets can run over by between 35% and 50%, while operational inefficiencies can account for between 10% and 15% of the total business, translating into millions of dollars in losses.

Maximizing profitability in a billion-dollar industry

“Construction is one of Latin America’s largest industries—it contributes close to 6% of regional GDP and generates more than 700 billion dollars a year—but it is also one of the least digitized. It still relies on manual processes amid a housing crisis, cost pressures, and increasingly expensive financing. In this environment, developers can no longer manage projects blindly: they need financial visibility and real-time control. That’s where Lebane comes in as a technology partner,” says Bruno Lerer, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“For years, it frustrated me to run a development company without fine-grained control of the business: the numbers came in late, deviations were spotted when they were already too expensive to fix, and decisions were based more on intuition than data,” says another co-founder, Diego Cabrosi. “In real estate, organization, predictability, and data literacy are key to maximizing profitability. Having real-time information makes it possible to anticipate issues, make timely adjustments, and make better decisions.

That’s why Lebane created a solution tailored to the industry’s real needs: its offering is an intelligent operating system for developers and construction firms that uses WhatsApp and artificial intelligence to assist teams with the company’s main operations, from planning, execution, and financial control of construction projects.

Lebane’s main differentiator lies in its technological core. Unlike other solutions and traditional ERPs, Lebane is AI Native: the platform was designed from the outset to integrate directly with tools such as OpenAI, Mistral, and Claude. This allows users to operate the system, make inquiries, and even receive recommendations via WhatsApp, using a natural language system trained on each developer’s own data.

Lebane is an 360 solution that covers the entire lifecycle of a development company: from preparing an initial budget to managing leads and closing sales. It includes modules for accounting, administration, finance, project management, sales, collections, contracts, and even rentals. Everything is integrated so data flows seamlessly.

“If, in 2026, you’re not using AI to monitor and execute your projects, you’re at a disadvantage. Your competition is using it, applying it, and improving its performance. The benefits of new technologies are very clear and can be compared to the launch of the Internet or the PC—major milestones, but with an exponentially greater impact,” says Sarro.

Focus on Mexico

Lebane’s story began in an elevator in Mexico City, where fate brought Lerer and Glustman together. Both had experience in the startup world: Lerer in the fintech industry, and Glustman had sold his previous company to dLocal’s management (at a valuation of more than 10 billion dollars), whom he later supported through their Nasdaq IPO, so they decided to take on their next challenge together.

They identified an unmet need in the real estate development industry and soon expanded the team to address the sector’s real problems. The next person to come aboard was Sarro, its current CTO, who had been working at Datanomik building banking connections for large construction companies in Brazil. Then, in August 2023, they crossed paths with Losa0, another startup in the sector that was growing in parallel. Rather than compete, they decided to merge, and Cabrosi joined, with more than 15 years in the real estate sector, along with Podrojsky.

The merger and the team’s agility enabled them to scale rapidly by 20x: the company grew from a portfolio of 10 clients in March 2023 to more than 100 in its first year. Lebane currently has a team of 45 employees, operates in Argentina and Mexico, and has more than 300 clients (60 of them in Mexico), including firms such as C-Urbano, Minimax, Urban Capital, Concoord, Briko, and Constructora Fasa.

Following the investment, the goal is to double down on its presence in Mexico and maintain the rapid growth it achieved over the past year. In the country, Roberto Esses, has led Lebane’s operations since joining in early 2025, bringing the startup 15 years of experience in real estate and having led technology companies such as Inmuebles24, Gympass, and Vivanuncios - eBay.

Esses notes that Lebane’s business opportunity in the country is significant, given that there are around 70,000 companies involved in the construction sector—from real estate developers to material suppliers—according to the Ministry of Economy.

The executive adds that “90% of real estate developers and construction firms in Mexico use Excel to operate; we’re talking about projects worth billions of pesos or dollars, and they manage them in Excel. Of those, 95% have errors in their formulas, which can lead to extra payments or budget overruns.”

The company will also move forward with strengthening its financial product offering. Through its platform, Lebane is working to develop solutions that will include loans, payment tracking services, and automated collections, with the goal of enabling real estate development and construction companies to further centralize its operations in a single digital ecosystem.
