KredFeed, the Fintech platform specializing in financing for manufacturing SMEs, closes a $$1.5M USD Seed round.

Mexico City, 21 March 2025
KredFeed, the Fintech platform specializing in financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector, announced the close of a $1.5 million Seed investment round. The investment will allow the company to strengthen its technology and expand its operational capacity to serve more companies seeking to join emerging value chains driven by the phenomenon of nearshoring.
Among the investors who participated in the round are Carabela, Techstars, 2045 Ventures, The PitchFund, AngelHub, NewlinVentures and Cacao Capital, as well as key strategic investors, including Jeremy Brown, , president of the Small Business Financing Association; Alec Randall, , former Chief Growth Officer at Sivo; and Sahari Cabello, Head of CreditStrategy at Spin. In addition, GAIN, a previous investor in KredFeed, reaffirmed its confidence in the company by participating in this new funding round.
Supporting SMEs in the age of nearshoring
The rise of nearshoring has intensified demand for financing among SMEs seeking to join the value chains of large corporations. In Mexico, this segment faces significant financial challenges: 77% of SMEs lack access to credit products, and 97% have never used factoring. In addition, many of these companies have to operate with payment terms of up to 180 days, limiting their liquidity and growth capacity.
KredFeed aims to close this gap with agile and transparent financing solutions, helping SMEs maintain healthy cash flow and secure their participation in international markets.
“With more multinational companies setting up production plants in Mexico, local SMEs need financial solutions tailored to their reality. With this round, we will be able to scale our financing solutions, ensuring these companies can operate without liquidity or working capital risks, regardless of the payment terms set by large corporations”, said Luis Jorge Sánchez, CEO and co-founder of KredFeed.
Expansion and growth plans
With this investment, KredFeed will strengthen its engineering and product teams to optimize the user experience, as well as expand its network of strategic partnerships with B2B platforms and other Fintechs. It will also implement new machine learning models and advanced risk analysis tools to optimize credit assessment and approval.
In the medium term, the company aims to expand its operations to the United States and establish itself as the leading financing platform for SMEs in the manufacturing sector. To date, KredFeed has financed more than $400 million pesos in accounts receivable for Mexican SMEs and operates in a market with high growth potential.
Mexico has more than 600,000 manufacturing companies, which together generate more than $304 billion dollars a year. KredFeed aims to consolidate its presence in this sector with specialized financing solutions designed to meet the specific needs of supply chains.
Strategic backing for growth
The backing of investors with experience in financing, technology, and credit strategies reinforces KredFeed’s vision of becoming a key player in transforming access to credit for SMEs in Latin America.
“KredFeed has been a vital source of support in helping us stay competitive and continue to expand. From acquiring new accounts to managing working capital, it has been a fundamental strategic ally”, said Alfonso Garibay, a company customer.
Combining technological innovation with a specialized focus on the manufacturing industry, KredFeed continues to develop solutions that enable SMEs to access financing more efficiently, reducing approval times and improving their financial stability.
