Impactaland 2025 leads as EtMday’s most relevant investment hub, delivering outstanding results: +7.550 effective VC-startup connections and a record number of attendees.

Impactaland surpasses 7.550 connections, consolidating its position as EtMday’s investment hub

In its fourth edition, Impactaland, the investment hub for EtMday’s technology entrepreneurship ecosystem operated by the Latin American venture capital fund specializing in social and environmental impact, Impacta VC, achieved outstanding results, cementing its position as the most relevant space for bringing together multiple stakeholders: startups, venture capital funds, corporate VCs, limited partners, angel investors, companies, and strategic allies.

Over the three days of a successful EtMday—the continent’s most important entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment event, organized by the nonprofit Emprende tu Mente corporation—which drew a record 56.000 attendees, the 1.000-square-meter space hosted unprecedented activity in the ecosystem: more than 7.550 effective connections between venture capital firms (VCs) and startups, and more than 300 meetings held at the Impacta Lounge, along with two VC–limited partner (LP) speed-dating business matchmaking sessions.

In total, Impactaland brought together more than 80 representatives from venture capital and corporate venture capital funds, as well as 40 LPs, creating a diverse and highly active ecosystem in search of new investment opportunities. The event also included 318 startups in the matchmaking program and conversations focused on raising capital, validating business models, and exploring expansion opportunities. These figures establish Impactaland as a unique meeting point within EtMday for the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem, enabling startups across industries to access key conversations to raise capital, accelerate their growth, and explore strategic partnerships, while also helping venture capital firms meet and connect with LPs for their own fundraising processes.

This year, Impactaland welcomed special guest Patrick McGinnis, a renowned writer, global investor, and creator of the term “FOMO,” who was one of the event’s main highlights. In addition to taking part in the Impactaland Live Podcast hosted by Jaime Sotomayor, venture partner at Impacta VC and general partner of the Peruvian fund Worth It (a new addition to this edition), McGinnis also appeared on the Impactaland Stage, where he shared his perspective on investment trends, decision-making, and building entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Also visiting the Impacta VC space, directly from Abu Dhabi, was Leena Khalil, co-founder of Mumzworld.com, one of the largest startups in MENA (the Middle East and North Africa). She led its expansion in a highly competitive market and now advises global startups on growth, focus, and strategy.

Among the attendees was also Octaviano Couttolenc, a Mexican investor and director of Impact Ventures PSM, one of the most active investment vehicles in Latin America. His presence reflects not only growing international interest in Chile’s ecosystem, but also Impactaland’s strategic importance as a meeting point for leaders shaping the future of venture capital in the region.

In addition to the activities scheduled at the hub, the 2025 edition featured new experiences designed to strengthen trust and collaboration within the ecosystem. Outside EtMday’s main venue, the Mingle Night, a private, exclusive gathering for investors (LPs, VCs, sponsors, strategic allies, and top founders), offered a setting to talk, unwind, and build connections. Attendance was by direct invitation only.

Another new addition was the Impacta Coffee Rave by Señor K, which wrapped up Impacta VC’s activities on Saturday, 22 November, with a focus on creating a welcoming, family-friendly space. The event featured a live DJ set, musical lineup, and Wellness Zone, creating a different kind of space to connect through music, well-being, and celebration, and reinforcing the hub’s cultural, family-friendly, and collaborative spirit with activities including yoga led by the executive chair of Startuplab01, face painting, animal flow, storytelling, and more.

The hub was also supported by 16 sponsoring companies, including Oracle, AWS and EY, which helped strengthen the event’s infrastructure and experience.

On Sunday, 23 November, a select group of 10 investors had the chance to enjoy a unique experience at one of Chile’s most iconic wineries: Casas del Bosque. There, they made their own wine and shared an unforgettable lunch among the vines, bringing their time in Impactaland and Chile to a fitting close.

It is also worth noting that Impacta VC received recognition from Emprende tu Mente on the Impacto stage, just after President Boric officially opened ETM Day, alongside other strategic partners supporting entrepreneurship in Chile. This milestone follows a recent award from the Chilean Venture Capital Association (ACVC) at its annual summit (the award was presented just one day before ETM Day), recognizing Impacta VC as one of the key players in community-building and catalyzing the ecosystem. This recognition from its peers reaffirms the role Impacta VC plays in advancing venture capital in the region.

Impacta VC said these results reaffirm EtMday’s importance as a high-impact networking platform. “I’m pleasantly surprised by the caliber of entrepreneurs we’ve had at Impactaland this year; it exceeded all expectations. The record number of international VCs who came this year were also delighted with the quality of the deal flow they found,” said David Alvo, founder and CEO of Impacta VC. He added: “I’m feeling very grateful, and my heart is full, for the whole team that made this possible. And I’d like to welcome you all to Impactaland 2026”.
“In a particularly challenging year for the industry, we believe initiatives like this can help position and showcase Chile as an investment hub in the region, and allow us to keep developing the sector sustainably. We hope this momentum will help accelerate public policies that support the industry and enable the creation of the next companies that will transform our society”, said Catalina Taricco, COO & CMO of Impacta VC.
“Impacta VC has made Impactaland a must-attend event at EtMday; this project began as an idea and is now a unique space for making connections,” said Nicolás Uranga, executive director of Emprende tu Mente who also added: “The concept is excellent: the idea of a space where investors and startups can connect in a more welcoming format, with room to have relaxed conversations away from the whirlwind of EtMday, is very valuable. This idea became a reality in 2022, and over time it was refined and established as a unique space for creating value at EtMday,” he concluded, “Impacta VC’s ability to invite its peers from across the region and bring them into the fold is remarkable”.

The fund’s fourth consecutive participation in EtMday, with US$7M and a view to opening its second fund at the beginning of 2026 with 7 new partners, reinforces its role as one of Latin America’s most prominent venture capital funds, and the leading investment reference at EtMday, driving the growth of entrepreneurship and strengthening the relationship between capital and startups in the region.
