IMSP and IFSP establish Impacta VC as one of Latin America’s leading organizations supporting high-impact entrepreneurship

Twenty-three Latin American startups took part in the second edition of the Impacta Miami Soft Landing Program internationalization program 2025 (#IMSP25), marking the culmination of a successful 2025 for the social and environmental impact venture capital firm Impacta VC.

This year marked the consolidation and expansion of its acceleration and internationalization programs, Impacta Miami Soft Landing Program (IMSP) and Impacta Fundraising Strategy Program (IFSP), which together brought in more than 370 applicant startups, from multiple countries, and 239 active founders, strengthening its position as a key platform for the growth of high-impact ventures in the region.

Impacta Miami Strategy Program: #IMSP 2025

IMSP is Impacta VC’s internationalization program, which prepares and supports Latin American startups as they expand into the United States, combining strategic training, specialized mentoring, and an in-person and online immersion in Miami’s ecosystem.

This year, in its second edition, it received 62 applications from six countries, and selected 23 startups: of these, 11 participated in person in Miami, while 12 startups joined online, a format that gave them access to all sessions, including those held in the United States, thereby broadening the program’s reach and regional scope.

The 2025 edition of IMSP included startups in strategic verticals such as EdTech; AgriTech, FoodTech, ClimateTech, and CleanTech; HealthTech, BioTech, and Life Sciences; MediaTech, MarketingTech, and RetailTech; FinTech and Finance; as well as TravelTech and Mobility, and once again featured Impacta House Miami, a space designed to foster collaboration, networking, and direct connections with the local ecosystem.

The program also demonstrated a strong sense of community: one startup returned for another experience, while several IMSP 2024 participants actively recommended new startups, helped spread the word, and encouraged other founders to apply. In addition, founders from the previous cohort returned this year as speakers, supporting the Miami immersion. In addition, 3 startups raised capital during the immersion.

As part of the Impacta ecosystem, all IMSP 2025 startups were invited to Impactaland and EtMDay, where they received a free booth, increasing their visibility and connections with key players in entrepreneurship, investment, and innovation. They also took part in a showcase with prizes, further strengthening Impacta VC’s commitment to continually supporting the startups in its community.

Thanks to support from CORFO, Impacta VC was able to provide scholarships to Chilean startups, in addition to institutional funding to strengthen internationalization efforts. Each startup received support from a strategic director (Lead Mentor) throughout the program, along with the addition of The Venture Mentoring Team, which provided weekly mentoring sessions (Spot Mentors) for each venture.

Impacta Fundraising Strategy Program 2025: #IFSP

IFSP is an educational and support initiative that has helped more than 600 Latin American startups design and execute successful fundraising strategies. Its goal is clear: to teach founders how to “play the VC game” with strategy, structure, and focus, increasing their chances of success when raising capital in Pre-Seed, Seed, or Pre-Series A rounds.

Meanwhile, the IFSP 2025 wrapped up its edition with record-breaking figures: 308 applications, 112 startups selected, 83 active startups at the close, and a total of 239 active founders, of whom 51,8% were women. The program included 70,5 hours of classes, 47 total sessions, and participation from more than 12 international rockstars, creating a high-caliber learning experience.

Of the total, 29 startups graduated based on attendance, performance, and completion of missions, while 72 scholarships were awarded throughout the program. The most represented verticals were HealthTech (15), AgriTech (13), and ClimateTech (12), and more than 40 startups were a direct fit with Impacta VC’s investment thesis and are currently under review.

This year’s Fundraising Program also featured 7 partners who delivered masterclasses, including BancoEstado, Investability, and Alster; the addition of venture partner Jaime Sotomayor as host of the Rockstar Sessions, which featured prominent guests such as Patrick McGinnis, Zev Siegl, Pier Paolo Colonnello, and Marcus Dantus; and a network of 8 IFSP Ambassadors, strengthening support for participating founders and their future prospects.

With these results, Impacta VC wraps up 2025 with a strengthened regional community of entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors and reaffirms its commitment to developing purpose-driven startups, capable of scaling globally and generating economic, social, and environmental impact.

Impacta VC will raise the bar with its programs in 2026, and is already inviting founders and startups interested in participating to pre-register at this link to take part in IFSP and IMSP 2026.

““The success of IMSP and the Fundraising Program 2025 confirms that Latin America has an abundance of talent waiting to be discovered, and that when we can support founders with expertise, networks, and access to international markets, opportunities for growth multiply. That’s why at Impacta VC, we want to offer them a platform that not only accelerates startups, but also builds community and generates real impact from the region out into the world,” said Catalina Taricco, COO & CMO of Impacta VC and director of the IMSP and IFSP programs.
