Fintech KredFeed obtains SOFOM license, strengthening its role in supply chain financing

‍Mexico City, 23 January 2026. KredFeed, a technology platform specializing in supply chain financing, announced that it had received authorization to operate as a Multiple Purpose Financial Company (SOFOM ENR), registering with CONDUSEF and becoming subject to CNBV supervision on matters related to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.

The authorization marks a turning point in the company’s institutional evolution, formalizing its financial operations without sacrificing the technological agility that has enabled it to scale its specialized financing model. With this structure, KredFeed consolidates its operations under robust standards for regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and user protection, enabling sustained growth and access to institutional funding.

Financial infrastructure for the new manufacturing landscape

The license comes at a pivotal moment for Mexico’s productive sector. The relocation of supply chains has increased demand for working capital, factoring, and confirming solutions among manufacturing companies operating with extended payment terms and structural liquidity pressures.

In this context, the SOFOM structure allows KredFeed to strengthen partnerships with financial system players, expand its funding capacity, and serve as financial infrastructure for supply chains that need specialized solutions integrated into their operating flows.

Institutional certainty and risk discipline

For clients, investors, and strategic partners, formalizing as a SOFOM represents greater operational certainty and transparency. The company has financed more than $550 million pesos, while keeping its non-performing loan ratios below market averages, thanks to proprietary risk assessment models and disciplined portfolio management.

“Becoming a SOFOM is a natural step in our growth as a company,” said Luis Jorge Sánchez, CEO and co-founder of KredFeed. “Beyond technology, our greatest asset is trust. This authorization validates our operational strength and allows us to access institutional sources of capital to multiply our impact among the manufacturing SMEs that are part of the value chains now being relocated to Mexico.”

Corporate governance and scalability

As a SOFOM, KredFeed operates with a corporate governance structure aligned with financial sector best practices, including governing bodies, internal control functions, and regulatory compliance. This institutional foundation not only strengthens user protection but also positions the company for future strategic partnerships and new stages of growth.
