Digital Hub Monterrey and AngelHub launch SinergIA Ventures, a US$1.1M fund for AI and Enterprise Tech startups
SinergIA Ventures launches as a new venture capital fund focused on artificial intelligence and enterprise technology, connecting startups with leading LATAM corporations.

A new fund aims to connect AI startups with large corporations
The Latin American venture capital ecosystem welcomes a new player specializing in artificial intelligence. Digital Hub Monterrey and AngelHub Ventures announced the launch of SinergIA Ventures, a US$1.1M fund designed to invest in early-stage AI and Enterprise Tech startups.
The initiative aims to address one of the main challenges facing B2B startups: moving from innovation to enterprise adoption. To do so, the fund combines capital with direct access to corporations that can serve as validation partners, early customers, and growth accelerators.
The fund will be managed by AngelHub Ventures, with the participation of Digital Hub Monterrey, one of Mexico’s leading corporate innovation platforms.

More than capital: direct access to corporate customers
SinergIA Ventures was designed as a vehicle for discovering and implementing technology to solve real-world industry challenges.
Unlike a traditional fund, its approach focuses on connecting startups with corporations at an early stage to accelerate commercial validation and the adoption of their solutions.
“SinergIA Ventures is more than a fund; it is a catalytic movement to position Monterrey as the epicenter of digital and corporate innovation in Latin America,” said Mauricio Muñoz, General Partner of the fund and General Manager of Digital Hub Monterrey.
The model provides for selected startups to work directly with participating companies in the ecosystem, allowing them to develop proof-of-concept projects within 60 to 90 days and create opportunities for large-scale deployment.

The focus: artificial intelligence applied to business challenges
The fund will primarily invest in B2B startups at the Pre-Seed and Seed stages in Latin America and other global markets, with an interest in expanding into Mexico.
Over the next 24 months, SinergIA Ventures plans to make between 10 and 15 investments, with ticket sizes ranging from US$50K to US$100K.
The investment thesis focuses on three areas where artificial intelligence is already delivering tangible results for businesses:
- Customer and employee experience automation (CX/EX)
- Operational, logistics, and supply chain efficiency
- Sustainability and industrial resource optimization
The goal is to back technologies that can deliver measurable efficiencies and accelerate the digital transformation of corporations in key sectors.

A partnership between two key ecosystem players
The initiative combines the strengths of both organizations.
On the one hand, Digital Hub Monterrey provides access to a network of corporations that includes organizations such as Arca Continental, Banorte, Cemex, Femsa, Grupo Bimbo, IBM, Sigma Foods, and Tecnológico de Monterrey, among others.
On the other, AngelHub Ventures brings early-stage investment experience, a community of more than 250 angel investors, and a track record of more than 100 investments in Latin American startups.
“Latin America needs more collaboration and synergy among the players in its ecosystem, and bringing startups and corporations together through smart capital and shared goals is a key strategy that can exponentially accelerate innovation and economic and social prosperity in the region,” said Mario García Dávila, Managing Partner of SinergIA Ventures.
