Conexión Summit 2025: investment, innovation and connections for startups in LATAM

The second edition of Conexión Summit brought startups, corporations and investors together in Medellín with a clear goal: to bridge distances and create meaningful connections that drive the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Conexión Summit 2025, held on 19 and 20 in August at Plaza Mayor, Medellín, established itself as one of the most important events for the innovation ecosystem in Latin America. The event embraced a disruptive format, putting corporations at the center of the conversation with booths and open schedules for meeting with startups.

The numbers speak for themselves: more than 80 companies, 46 investors and 756 entrepreneurs registered took part in this second edition. Thanks to the methodology used, 5.662 meetings were scheduled, of which more than 3.000 took place, creating meaningful connections that could turn into business opportunities.

Startuplinks: connecting startups and investors

During the investment program, Startuplinks presented, together with Ruta N the first mapping of investors from Colombia, a key tool for founders looking to raise capital in the country.

One of the most anticipated moments was the Reverse Pitch LATAM, where seven investment funds shared their investment theses and criteria directly with startups:

“Today more than ever, entrepreneurs need direct access to those investing in the region’s future. Spaces like Conexión Summit make that meeting possible in a collaborative, welcoming environment”, said one of the invited investors.
