Caricaco Summit to celebrate its 3rd edition with a strategic agenda focused on the most promising startups in Central America and the Caribbean
Caricaco Summit 2026 is preparing to bring together founders, investment funds, family offices, and key venture capital players in Central America once again

Just weeks before its third edition, Caricaco Summit 2026 is preparing to bring together founders, investment funds, family offices, and key venture capital players in Central America once again. The event will take place on 18 and 19 of March in Costa Rica, establishing itself as one of the region’s most relevant gatherings for the startup ecosystem.
Organized by Caricaco Ventures, the Summit expects to bring together more than 300 attendees, including entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate leaders, with an agenda designed to foster strategic connections and high-value conversations about the future of venture capital in emerging markets.

A key activity: Mapping Startups in Central America and the Caribbean
The event agenda will include the presentation of the Map of Notable Startups in Central America and the Caribbean, an initiative led by Startuplinks and Cuántico VP, with support from Caricaco Ventures and funds from Central America and the Caribbean.
The goal is to showcase up to 20 startups founded by Central American and Caribbean entrepreneurs that stand out for their level of operations, traction, investor backing, and growth potential.
These companies will not only be presented at the Summit, but will also be included on an interactive map that will allow international funds and investors to learn about them and request direct introductions. The initiative aims to close visibility and funding gaps for startups in a region that has historically been off the radar of many Latin American funds.
An agenda designed to build from Central America
Over the two days, the agenda will cover key topics for founders and investors:
- The future of fintech in emerging markets
- The real impact of artificial intelligence on startups
- Mobility and economic transformation in Latin America
- Business liquidity in the region
- How to sell, scale, and compete from Central America
- The next venture capital cycle in Latam
In addition to panels, the Summit will feature networking opportunities, wellness experiences by the sea, and gatherings designed to facilitate strategic connections between capital and talent.
The event is backed by partners such as DaviBank, JP Morgan and Toyota (Grupo Purdy), among other sponsors committed to strengthening the regional ecosystem.
Why does this matter to the Latin American ecosystem?
In a context where Brazil and Mexico attract most of Latin America’s venture capital, Central America continues to build a different narrative: less volume, but high potential and capital efficiency.
Caricaco Summit is more than an event; it is a platform seeking to position the region as a viable destination for venture investment, connecting globally minded founders with investors seeking differentiated opportunities.
The presentation of the regional map reinforces this commitment: to show that the talent is there, that startups are building to international standards, and that the next major Latin American success story could also emerge from Central America or the Caribbean.
