Brazilian retail tech startup Trinio closes US$6.4 million seed round led by Hi Ventures
Trinio announced a US$6.4 million seed round led by Hi Ventures to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities.

Trinio, a startup specializing in solutions to optimize e-commerce and omnichannel operations, announced the closing of a US$6.4 million seed round. The investment was led by the Mexican fund Hi Ventures and also included participation from Activant, Caravela, Latitud and Gilgamesh.
The new capital injection will allow the company to accelerate the development of new artificial intelligence capabilities and expand its presence in strategic Latin American markets, starting with Colombia and Mexico.
Artificial intelligence will be a key focus for growth

With the funds raised, Trinio plans to strengthen its technology platform by adding new features powered by artificial intelligence and autonomous agents.
The move is part of a strategy to help major retailers and brands manage increasingly complex operations more efficiently, especially in environments where physical and digital channels converge.
“Digital commerce operations have become more complex as retailers increasingly integrate online and offline channels. Our role is to turn that complexity into operational efficiency and growth, using artificial intelligence to make operations more profitable, agile, and predictable,” said Theo Ribeiro, Trinio’s co-founder and CEO.
Mexico and Colombia lead regional expansion
Alongside technology development, the startup plans to expand beyond Brazil. Colombia and Mexico are among its first priority markets, where Hi Ventures’ participation could facilitate the company’s commercial and strategic growth.
The round comes at a time of rapid expansion for Trinio. According to its founders, Theo Ribeiro and Pablo Staubli, the company grew its revenue approximately eightfold between 2024 and 2025. While they did not disclose specific figures, they expect to reach financial break-even within a year.
The company currently has about 40 employees, around 70% of whom work in product and technology.
TrinioOS: a new platform for omnichannel management

Alongside the investment announcement, the company unveiled TrinioOS, a new module that expands its platform’s capabilities.
The solution is a technology suite designed to coordinate checkout, fulfillment, and omnichannel management processes using artificial intelligence agents. Its goal is to seamlessly connect all sales channels and optimize companies’ commercial operations.
Founded in 2022, Trinio develops technology for major retailers and brands that operate across multiple sales channels. Its offering integrates the different stages of the shopping experience and logistics management into a single layer of operational intelligence.
More than 50 enterprise clients use Trinio’s technology
The company currently serves more than 50 corporate clients, including brands such as Vivara, Osklen, Reserva, Asics, Casas e Video, Tania Bulhões, Polishop, and Usaflex.
Its client base consists mainly of companies with established digital operations, high order volumes, and complex distribution networks that are looking to improve profitability through technology, automation, and data analysis.
According to Theo Ribeiro, companies using the platform record significant improvements in their operational metrics. Results include increases of between 10% and 15% in checkout conversion rates, an approximately 25-second reduction in the average time to complete a purchase, decreases of between 5% and 15% in operating and logistics costs, and a lower cancellation rate.
The goal: to become strategic infrastructure for e-commerce
For the founders, Trinio’s vision goes beyond offering standalone tools for e-commerce.
“We’re building a new category of technology for retailers based on operational intelligence and automation. Our focus now is to scale this vision, expand Trinio’s presence in Latin America, and establish our technology as strategic infrastructure for large-scale e-commerce operations,” Ribeiro said.
With the new funding round, the company aims to accelerate that goal and strengthen its position in the technology ecosystem driving the digital transformation of retail in the region.
