boxful, the multi-carrier platform revolutionizing e-commerce logistics in Central America, has closed a pre-seed round of US$1.9 million

San Salvador, February 2025 – boxful, the multi-carrier platform that is revolutionizing e-commerce logistics in Central America, has closed a pre-seed round of US $1.9 million, backed by some of the most recognized investment funds in Mexico and the region. Among the investors who bet on boxful's vision are Innogen Capital, Carao Ventures, Caricaco Ventures, as well as the Mexican funds GAIN and Angel Hub. The round also included participation from the corporate venture capital arm of Yango Group and other strategic regional angel investors.
Since launching in El Salvador in January 2023, boxful has shown outstanding growth, beginning operations in Honduras in September 2024, where it has grown at an average rate of 94% per month. It is now preparing to launch in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. The startup offers solutions such as a delivery management platform for Same-Day and Next-Day nationwide, fulfillment services, and Central America's first open network of smart lockers. It is growing at a monthly rate of 18% and roughly doubling its sales every five months.

Making e-commerce simple and accessible
boxful has an ambitious vision: to make e-commerce simple and accessible for everyone. With a rapidly expanding market and a changing logistics infrastructure, the startup is closing last-mile delivery gaps and enabling more entrepreneurs and businesses to scale their operations efficiently.
“Talent is distributed equally, but opportunities are not. boxful is an opportunity for Central America's best talent to come build the region's largest company and maximize their potential,” says Salvador Ramírez, founder and CEO. “Our goal is to become the first Central American unicorn, proving that the region has the talent to develop global solutions.”
The team behind boxful
Salvador is no stranger to entrepreneurship. Since 2013, he has been building innovative startups, starting with Get my Food!, the first delivery app in Central America, which operated in El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. He also co-founded Hylio, a Texas-based company that manufactures agricultural spraying drones.
Alongside him, Roger Sibrián, with more than 26 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, brings his expertise as president of ALG, one of the region's largest logistics companies. Completing the founding team are Juan Carlos García and Jaime Chávez, entrepreneurs and software engineers with more than 8 years of experience building fintech solutions, delivery apps, and SaaS, giving boxful a unique combination of technology and logistics expertise.
Expansion and technology improvements with the new funding
The funds raised in this round will be used primarily to:
- Improve the technology platform to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the user experience.
- Accelerate expansion into Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, the region's two largest markets and among the top 10 Latin American economies by GDP.
- Grow the team, as geographic expansion and new services require ambitious talent to make them happen.
- Develop new features such as payment links, consumer credit, and new services for its customers.
“Innogen Capital focuses on companies with committed teams. boxful, in particular, has a strong and capable team with experience in logistics, technology, and entrepreneurship, as well as valuable products and services for entrepreneurs.” – Christian Quiñonez Sol, Managing Partner at Innogen Capital Ventures.
