Argentine agtech SiloReal secures US$2,5 million to accelerate regional growth

SiloReal secured a new investment of US$2,5 million to accelerate its regional expansion and strengthen its digital infrastructure for agricultural assets. With this deal, the Argentine agtech company brings its total funding to US$4 million, which will fuel its growth in Argentina and Brazil.

A round that brought together strategic investors

The funding round closed in early July 2026 and included participation from Draper Cygnus, Xperiment Ventures, Innventure Agrifoodtech, Galicia Ventures and BYMA Ventures, as well as Business Angels Club EmprendeIAE, Lartirigoyen, fyo, and Reis Advogados.

The mix of investors reflects the company's business model. BYMA Ventures is linked to Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos, while Galicia Ventures is part of Banco Galicia's innovation ecosystem.

Technology to digitize agricultural assets

SiloReal operates in Argentina and Brazil, where it develops technology that enables the digital verification of grain stored in silo bags, as well as livestock and dairy products. This allows these assets to be used as collateral for financing, insurance, and commercial transactions without having to move them physically.

Its technology is based on the VRR (Remote and Recurring Verification of Agricultural Assets) standard, which continuously monitors the existence, condition, and ownership of agricultural assets.

Built on this infrastructure, the company has developed three complementary solutions:

  • SiloID, which provides agricultural assets with a digital identity.
  • SiloSat, which uses satellite imagery for verification and monitoring.
  • SiloMetrix, which combines IoT sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms to continuously monitor assets.

Together, these tools aim to integrate the agtech, fintech, and insurtech sectors, enabling digital loans, insurance, guarantees, and commercial transactions backed by verified agricultural assets.

Founded by leaders with experience in the agricultural sector

SiloReal was founded in 2021 by Delfín Uranga (CEO), José Domínguez (Director for Brazil), and Martín López Saubidet (Chief Commercial Officer).

Before starting the company, Uranga worked at S4 Agtech and served first as vice president and then as president of the Argentine Polo Association between 2021 and 2025. Domínguez leads the company's operations in Brazil, while López Saubidet built part of his career in the presidency of Grupo Techint and in Tenaris's commercial division.

More than 1,4 million tons of grain digitized

According to the company, SiloReal has already digitized more than 1,4 million tons of grain, equivalent to approximately US$430 million in value, while serving more than 50 clients in agricultural regions of Argentina and Brazil.

The company had previously raised US$1,5 million in 2023, with participation from Draper Cygnus, Xperiment Ventures, and Innventure Agrifoodtech. Later, in December 2025, it announced a partnership with Nera focused on credit products.

Capital to accelerate regional expansion

The new funding will enable SiloReal to deepen its regional expansion, strengthen its platform's integration with banks, insurers, and other ecosystem players, expand its team, and continue optimizing its technology and operational processes.

The company also expects to confirm an additional funding round in Brazil.

As part of its five-year growth plan, SiloReal aims to monitor 40 million tons of agricultural assets and reach around US$70 million in revenue.
