Aimirim raises US$ 2 million in seed round to accelerate industrial digitization with AI
Aimirim raised US$ 2 million in a seed round led by Indicator Capital and SP Ventures to accelerate its expansion and grow in global markets.

Aimirim aims to accelerate its global growth after closing a US$ 2 million seed round led by Indicator Capital and co-led by SP Ventures. The Brazilian deep tech company, founded in Uberlândia in 2016, develops industrial digitization solutions for traditionally under-digitized sectors such as agribusiness, mining and pulp and paper.
The startup reached this first investment round after growing through bootstrapping and building a client portfolio that includes Raízen, British American Tobacco, Mondelez and Agropalma.
Aimirim’s bet on Industry 4.0
The company was founded by Renato Pacheco Silva, its current CEO, together with Felipe Adriano Gonçalves, CTO, and Camila Borges, chief operating officer.
According to Silva, the decision to raise capital reflects the maturity of the company’s technology and the need to accelerate its entry into new markets.
“We got here through bootstrapping, but one of the reasons for this round is to accelerate our market entry, because we believe our product is mature enough to scale quickly,” the executive said.
The startup operates through its proprietary platform, Tupana, a solution that combines artificial intelligence, predictive control, advanced automation and industrial data analytics to optimize operations in real time.
Industrial technology for under-digitized sectors
The portfolio of Aimirim includes four main areas: real-time automation, digital twins for scenario simulation, IoT sensor management and industrial data analytics.
The company says its solutions have already delivered tangible results for major industrial clients. These include savings of US$ 200 thousand per harvest for Raízen and the elimination of 65 tons of CO₂ per year for British American Tobacco.
In addition to integrating industrial hardware and software, the startup works with interoperability and edge computing, enabling industries to implement advanced technologies without having to replace existing machinery.

Capital to drive commercial expansion and international growth
With the funds raised, Aimirim plans to triple its customer base in the coming years, particularly in the middle market.
The company will also use the investment to strengthen its commercial structure and bring on new sales executives, an area that has not yet been fully developed.
At the same time, the startup aims to accelerate its presence in mature industrial markets such as the United States, Europe and Asia, where demand for energy efficiency and emissions reductions continues to grow.
Indicator Capital and SP Ventures bet on industrial AI
The investment reflects growing interest among funds specializing in industrial technologies and agritech in advanced automation solutions powered by artificial intelligence.
Indicator Capital focuses its investment thesis on startups working in IoT and smart technologies applied to industry, while SP Ventures is a firm specializing in innovation for agribusiness and climate.
Henrique Zanuzzo, a principal at SP Ventures, highlighted Aimirim’s ability to apply AI directly to complex industrial and agroindustrial operations in real time.
