ADN.vc, the fund backing fintech and proptech with impact in Latam

ADN.vc is a pre-seed fund betting on transforming Latin America from the earliest stages, investing in fintech and proptech startups solving structural problems such as financial inclusion and access to housing.

The initiative was founded by three partners with complementary backgrounds and experience as founders:

  • Alberto Arrieta, a lawyer and CEO of Zeta, has advised startups on raising more than $500M in capital and has participated in multiple exits across the region.
  • Nicolás Di Pace, a business administrator and founder of the fintech Culqi (acquired by Credicorp), has spent more than 10 years building user-centered financial products.
  • Diego Alfageme, an economist with an MBA, has led real estate projects for more than a decade and co-founded a healthtech company, B2B.

What sets them apart is clear: they are not just investors; they are operators who have been on the other side of the table.

“We’re not three finance professionals investing in startups. We’re three professionals who have been through the entrepreneurial journey and come from different backgrounds. That complementarity is our secret sauce,” explains Alberto Arrieta, partner at ADN.vc.

From Peru and Mexico, ADN.vc launched a $2 million-dollar fund specializing in fintech and proptech, with the goal of investing $40,000 USD in 21 startups and then reinvesting $110,000 USD in the 7 top performers. Its investment thesis focuses on lean, highly executable technology models with the potential to scale across the region without relying on country-by-country local operations.

“In Latin America, we still do a lot of things in Excel. From the outside, that looks like a huge opportunity for transformation,” adds Arrieta.

What is ADN.vc looking for?

  • Early-stage startups
  • Full-time founders
  • Teams working on solutions for financial inclusion or access to housing
  • Business models agnostic about channel (B2B, B2C, or hybrid).

Although its offices are in Peru and Mexico, the fund invests throughout Latin America, with a specialized focus on the Pacific Alliance. It is also willing to lead rounds, which can make a key difference for founders seeking credibility in their first funding rounds.
